I’ve been avoiding email and blogging during the holidays this year, mostly because I’m staying with my parents, and they happen to have the s-l-o-w-e-s-t internet connection in North America. That is, when the internet connectivity is actually available.
But electronic conveniences aside, it’s been a lovely holiday, complete with cottony soft snow, warm fires in the hearth and in the wilderness, hot cocoa, chocolate cream pies, kids tearing into brightly colored packages, sparkly lights and visits to old haunts. I haven’t actually seen any friends yet, but I plan to make sure that happens sooner than later.

I’ve got some ideas and projects in the works, and events coming up that I don’t want to miss (can anyone say “disco inferno?!”) More to come!
These bus passes from 1941 are so graphic, I loves. Found via this blog.I began sketching a few days ago, mostly to take up time during my lunch break at work, but also to initiate discipline in my artwork. See previous post…
